Growing up in a developed country such as New Zealand it is considered and is truly a blessing for our families who have made this country home. But we are seeing an decrease in the preservation of our rich Samoan cultural values and language.

From the history of our ancestors, food, way of life and religion our value is in our young people. We often look down on the next generation on losing the values and knowledge of Samoan Culture, yet we overlook that as parents we have neglected giving them the opportunities to learn about who and where they come from.
